Weight gain is very common in menopause. The hard part is carrying all of the weight around! I have not weighed this much since I was 9 months pregnant. One of our commenters suggested getting my thyroid checked. I will be doing that very soon and let you know how it goes. I also know that I crave carbs - especially chocolate and wine - while it sounds great, I think it is helping me pack on the pounds! From what I have read, I am supposed to pick up my activity level and eat a healthier diet. Tomorrow I will start - I promise!

How is the activity and eating healthy going? Have you had a chance to try any of the meal plans or recipes yet?
