Halloween is definitely my favorite time of the year. The fall leaf colors are out, the crisp smell in the air AND THE CANDY all really help me get into the holiday spirit!!! Fall is when New England really shines !!! The Patriots start getting into their groove, the fall leaves brighten up the sky and anything spooky or wicken come out to greet you in a fun way!...did I mention THE CANDY!!!
New England has the particular features of being the birth place of the Salem witch trials and the nations first murder trial of a woman. I’m talking about Lizzie Borden (took an ax, gave her mother 40 wacks, when she saw what she had done, gave her father 41). The mystery of the murder still haunts the house and the town to this day. The house in Fall River MA remains open for museum tours daily. https://lizzie-borden.com/
The Salem happenings include all day parties with face painting, Zombie George enterainment, parades, tours, rides and haunted houses. Just remember to get there early because Halloween is a very busy time for Salem.
Do the Patriots have a sweet tooth? Just take a look at this…
We also have decorated pumpkin patches, corn mazes, haunted houses, superstitions, pumpkin chuckin, haunted runs, zombies, ghost tours and museums. It’s not too late to catch some of the events, just check out the links below:
